Job summary

University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Library is seeking a Specialist, Insights and Design to lead the visual identity across communications, spaces, digital platforms, events and resources. The role combines design practice with client feedback, research and data to support evidence-based decision making and continuous improvement.

Working in the User Experience team, you will create welcoming, accessible experiences aligned with the Library's priorities, collaborating with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement design decisions that utilise user feedback and insights.
• Experience applying UX principles to digital and print media.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and information architecture.
• Ability to translate stakeholder insights into practical design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain a cohesive visual identity across Library communications, spaces, digital platforms, exhibitions, events and promotional materials.
• Create high-quality digital and print assets communicating Library services and priorities.
• Utilise client feedback, research, analytics and stakeholder insights to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to engagement activities, including social media and campaign reporting.
• Apply UX, accessibility and IA principles to improve interactions across environments.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the University to deliver client-centred solutions.
• Support initiatives that strengthen the Library's profile and improve client experience.
