Qualifications

• Experience selling, developing or managing technical products within industrial markets.
• Exposure to mining, oil & gas, power generation, water/wastewater, process or other heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen across sales, pricing, margins and profitability.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong customer engagement, relationship-building and negotiation capability.
• Ability to understand technical applications and translate customer requirements into commercially viable solutions.
• Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills.
• A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to work autonomously.
• Engineering, technical or relevant trade qualifications would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Expansion Joints portfolio across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
• Develop strategies to drive profitable growth, market penetration and portfolio development.
• Leverage established customer relationships while identifying new customers, applications and market opportunities.
• Develop product roadmaps, positioning, value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
• Drive sales, order intake, margin and overall commercial performance across the portfolio.
• Work closely with Area and Regional Sales Managers to identify and develop strategic opportunities.
• Build relationships with end users, EPCs, engineering consultants and other key industry stakeholders.
• Support opportunities from initial customer engagement through quotation, negotiation and order conversion.
• Develop strategic pricing and support commercially competitive pricing decisions.
• Monitor customer requirements, competitor activity and market and technology trends.
• Conduct Voice of Customer activities and translate market insights into product and commercial strategies.
• Work with global product teams to introduce and develop new products and applications.
• Provide product and application training to sales and internal teams.
• Participate in customer presentations, technical meetings, site visits and industry events.
