Job summary

Allsports Physiotherapy North Lakes is seeking a committed Exercise Physiologist to join our busy North Lakes clinic on a full-time basis. You will develop and deliver tailored exercise programs, support clients beyond pain, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary Healthia network.

We offer ongoing training and mentorship, access to Lyrebird and other clinical tools, professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and a competitive base salary up to $85k with additional commission.

Qualifications

• A tertiary degree in Exercise Physiology with full ESSA registration.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing client base to build a loyal caseload.
• Construct and implement customized exercise programs.
• Adopt a holistic approach to client care, identifying underlying causes of injury.
• Develop rapport with clients and contribute to community education and marketing.
• Liaise with GPs, orthopedic surgeons, strength coaches, trainers and teams as required.
• Engage in regular Professional Development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a committed and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a full-time basis to support our thriving North Lakes clinic.

In this role you will focus on making a difference to your clients' lives, not just getting them out of acute pain. You will learn communication and health change skills to connect with your clients and will improve their lives with the skills you possess.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Managing and building on our large existing client base by developing a loyal caseload
• Constructing and implementing exercise programs
• Providing a holistic approach to client care via the identification of underlying causes of injury with a focus on optimal lifelong physical health
• Developing excellent rapport with your clients and participating in marketing by educating our community
• Liaising with local GP's, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, personal trainers and sport teams as required
• Demonstrating a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills by participating in our regular Professional Development sessions

The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, driven in their pursuit of ongoing learning and professional development, and consistently strives to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes. The candidate may be early career or a seasoned professional with extensive clinical experience.

Along with a passion for helping others, the successful candidate will have/be:
