We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and people-focused Exercise Physiologist to join our growing private clinic. Sydney Sports Physio and Rehab is a team of 7 physios and 3 EPs and we all work together to achieve the best goals for our mutual patients. Our clinic provides a diverse range of exercise physiology and rehabilitation services, supported by a dedicated hydrotherapy pool and gym-based facilities. You will work with a varied caseload including NDIS participants, athletes, WorkCover/CTP clients, private clients and people living with chronic health conditions or injuries. This is an excellent opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist who enjoys variety, building strong relationships with clients and working in a positive, energetic clinical environment.
This role is to start in January 2027.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive Exercise Physiology and hydrotherapy assessments
Develop and deliver individualised exercise and rehabilitation programs
Deliver hydrotherapy and aquatic exercise programs
Provide gym-based rehabilitation and exercise prescription
Monitor and document client progress
Communicate effectively with GPs, specialists, physiotherapists, allied health professionals, support coordinators, insurers and other stakeholders
Prepare professional clinical reports and progress updates where required
Support clients to achieve their functional, health and lifestyle goals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in case conferencing and multidisciplinary care
About you
Bachelor or Master of Exercise Physiology (or equivalent)
Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with ESSA
Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance
Current Working With Children Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check, as applicable
Current First Aid and CPR
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys working with people
Outgoing, energetic and confident in communicating with clients, families and other health professionals
Passionate about exercise, rehabilitation and helping people achieve meaningful goals
This job is ideally suited to EP's with experience, however exceptional new grads will be considered.
