City of Maitland is seeking a capable executive assistant to provide high level administrative and secretarial support to the Director City Planning. You will help coordinate priorities, manage correspondence, and contribute to a range of council projects and initiatives.

In this pivotal role you will provide high level executive and administrative support to the Director City Planning, playing an important part in helping the City Planning Group deliver its services, projects and strategic priorities for the community.

To be successful in this role you will hold a Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline or hold an equivalent combination of contemporary experience coupled with education and training relevant to the inherent requirements of the role.
You will have contemporary industry knowledge and demonstrated experience in the provision of high level administrative, secretarial and support services to a senior executive.
In addition to the above you will also have superior communication and stakeholder engagement skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and maintain a high attention to detail.
This is a temporary full-time opportunity for 14 months, working a 35-hour week, with a base salary range of $80,583 - $89,448 per year plus 12% super.
