Wpay Pty Limited seeks a General Manager – Risk to lead enterprise risk, governance, and regulatory compliance across Australia and New Zealand. You will report to the Managing Director, act as AML/CTF Compliance Officer, and partner with executive teams to balance safeguards with rapid commercial growth.

You will oversee the risk function, manage the risk council, and shape policy, training, and external regulatory relationships to support Wpay’s merchant acquiring expansion.

Competenze

• 10+ years in senior risk, compliance, and governance within Financial Services, Fintech, or Payments.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role within a merchant acquirer, PSP, or financial institution.
• Proven AML/CTF compliance officer with deep AU/NZ regulatory program management.
• Deep technical knowledge of Payment Scheme Rules (Visa/Mastercard) and AusPayNet standards.

Mansioni

• Establish and champion a multi-year risk and compliance vision aligned with growth goals.
• Fulfill statutory AML/CTF duties across AU and NZ and manage regulatory relationships.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams to streamline merchant onboarding and due diligence.
• Lead PCI-DSS governance and compliance with scheme rules and regulatory bodies.
• Develop risk culture, policies, training, and elevate the Risk Team and Board advisory.
