Job summary

KPay Group is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead Australia’s compliance program across payments, merchant acquiring and lending. You’ll partner with risk, operations, product, sales and legal to ensure ASIC and AUSTRAC obligations are met as the business scales.

You’ll own and maintain the Compliance Management Framework, oversee KYC/CDD/EDD, sanctions and financial crime controls, and drive monitoring, risk assessments and remediation in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking or lending.
• Hands-on experience with AFSL and AUSTRAC requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ASIC, AML/CTF and financial crime compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain KPay Australia’s Compliance Management Framework and AFSL obligations.
• Manage compliance across ASIC, AUSTRAC and AML/CTF.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, testing and risk assessments.
• Manage compliance breaches, incidents and remediation.
• Oversee KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions and financial crime controls.
• Support regulatory reporting and engagement with ASIC and AUSTRAC.
• Provide practical compliance advice to business and senior stakeholders.
• Review new products, processes and business activities from a compliance perspective.
• Maintain compliance policies, procedures and registers.
• Work closely with Risk, Operations, Product, Sales, Finance and Legal teams.
