Job summary

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) seeks an Executive Director, Legal Operations, Technology and Enablement to lead legal technology services, investigations support, and knowledge management across the agency. You will set strategy, drive digital forensics, eDiscovery and evidence handling, and ensure compliant, integrated operations.

In this pivotal role you’ll steer a high‑performing team, coordinate with branches and external counsel, and align technology initiatives

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading a specialised service delivery team in a large, complex organisation.
Deep technical expertise in legal technology, eDiscovery, digital forensics, compliance and policy.
Understanding of technology developments, court practice, caselaw and regulators' approaches.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence strategy across branches.
Proven enterprise influence and external representation to shape agency outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead the Operations and Knowledge Management team and ensure it meets reporting schedules and delivers high-quality business support.
Provide strategic leadership of Legal Technology Services to deliver digital forensics, investigation and eDiscovery.
Develop long-term strategic direction for LTS and agency-wide legal operations knowledge management.
Oversee the eDiscovery platform for significant investigations across external counsel and the agency.
