Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria is seeking an Executive Coordinator to support four executives including the Executive Director within the Youth Justice division. This ongoing full-time role is based in Melbourne and falls under the VPS4 level, with a salary range of $100,894–$114,476 per year plus superannuation.

The role involves high-level confidential executive support, administration, project and governance tasks, and collaboration across teams to advance business

Qualifications

• Experience providing high-level executive support in government or similarly complex environments.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive, administrative, project and governance support to the Executive Director and three Directors.
• Diary management, meeting coordination, secretariat support and coordination of priority and ad hoc matters.
• Prepare high-quality briefs, correspondence, presentations and reports.
• Support across teams on finance, procurement, human resources, project coordination, corporate systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
