Job summary

TFE Hotels is seeking an Executive Assistant Hotel Manager for Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands to support the Hotel Manager and lead daily operations. This role requires delivering guest excellence, coordinating across departments and driving continuous improvement.

You will mentor leaders, manage budgets, and champion hospitality standards while leveraging systems and digital tools to enhance service and efficiency, in a dynamic Docklands setting.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or related business degree is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership in hotel operations or hospitality management.
• RSA certification where required and relevant executive training are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hotel Manager in leading day-to-day operations and overall performance.
• Provide leadership across operational departments to deliver guest experiences and commercial outcomes.
• Coach and develop leaders and team members to build capability and performance.
• Monitor operational performance and implement initiatives to improve service quality and profitability.
• Build strong relationships with guests, employees and key stakeholders to foster a positive hotel culture.
• Support budgeting, financial performance and operational planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and brand standards.
• Champion continuous improvement and accountability across the hotel.
• Lead adoption of systems and digital tools that improve guest service and efficiency.

Featuring 273 guest rooms in Melbourne's vibrant Docklands precinct, adjacent to Marvel Stadium and within easy reach of the CBD. The property is home to Storehouse Docklands and offers conference and event facilities.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a welcoming and passionate hospitality professional to join our Reception team as an Executive Assistant Hotel Manager at Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands

You'll work alongside the Hotel Manager to lead hotel operations, inspire high-performing teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences across every department.

Through collaborative leadership, commercial thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement, you'll help shape the culture, performance and long-term success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Hotel Manager in leading the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the hotel.

Qualifications, Certifications & Licenses

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Tourism or Business is advantageous.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (where required).
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Business or a related discipline (preferred).
• Executive leadership or professional management development programs are advantageous.
