Job summary

Monadelphous Australia is seeking an experienced Tradesperson moving off the tools into planning, in a hybrid Perth-based role. You will draft onshore and travel offshore to verify permits, working with maintenance planning and execution teams to gather information and prepare permits, templates and work instructions.

Bring Rigging, Scaffolding, and Rope Access licences with energy/refinery experience, CMMS/SAP familiarity and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy or refinery industries.
• Rigging, Scaffolding and Rope Access licences/certificates.
• CMMS/SAP experience and Permit to Work know-how.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; strong verbal/written skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with maintenance planning/execution teams to prepare permits, templates and work instructions.
• Provide execution readiness checks for work orders in short-term planning.
• Notify stakeholders of risks to permit readiness/material delivery.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver multi-discipline scopes (Mechanical, Inlec, Coatings).
• Identify permit template opportunities for PM and repeat CM work scopes.
• Conduct permit and personal isolation walk downs.

Job description

Are you an experienced Tradesperson looking to move off the tools while still playing a vital role in offshore operations? This could be your gateway into a planning or ERP-focused career path!

We’re looking for Services Execution Readiness Planners to join a supportive, family-friendly team with a fantastic culture. This is a hybrid role, drafting onshore and travelling offshore to walk down and verify permits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the main interface with our maintenance planning and execution teams to acquire necessary information to prepare permits, permit templates and work instructions
• Provide execution readiness checks for work orders as it enters short term planning
• Notify project relevant stakeholders of any potential risks to permit readiness/material delivery
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines within the team to deliver multi-disciplines scopes (Mechanical, Inlec, Coatings)
• Identify permit template opportunities for PM and repeat CM work scopes
• Conduct permit and personal isolation walk downs

What you’ll bring:

• Rigging, Scaffolding and Rope Access High Risk Work Licenses and certificates
• Proven experience within the energy or refinery industries
• Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP system
• Control of Work/Permit to Work experience Highly desirable
• Proficiency in the use of key Microsoft products (Word & Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
• A willingness to travel to site as per operational requirements
• Full Australian work rights (with no limitations)
