Job summary

Monadelphous Group is seeking a Senior Estimator to support the compilation of tenders and proposals for our Maintenance and Industrial Services division. The role is Perth-based with mentoring, internal transfers, and a permanent opportunity with yearly salary reviews.

You will provide expert estimating advice, develop execution methodologies, analyze data for tenders, and review submissions for quality, risk, and completeness. A strong on-site construction background is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop construction schedules and tender components.
• Experience with brownfield mining construction projects.
• On-site construction/installation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert estimating advice for tenders, proposals and EOIs.
• Develop execution methodologies and schedules.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data for tenders.
• Review tenders for quality, risk and accuracy; respond to issues quickly.
• Identify ambiguities, risks and key issues in tender documentation.

Monadelphous is seeking a Senior Estimator to provide support and assistance for the compilation of tenders and proposals for our Maintenance and Industrial Services division. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert estimating advice to assist with compiling major tenders, proposals and expressions of interest on behalf of the division
• Developing execution methodologies and schedules
• Analysing qualitative and quantitative data for inclusion in tenders
• Review tenders and proposals for quality, risk, accuracy and completeness: responding quickly to correct problems
• Identify ambiguities, risks and key issues in tender documentation

What you’ll bring

• Detailed understanding of brownfield projects and operations including but not limited to SMP construction projects, overland piping, dewatering and other NPI projects experience within mining construction
• On site construction/ installation experience is critical
• Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
• A methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work
• Ability to pull all aspects of the tender from hours, schedule, histogram, methodology and acquiring subcontractor quotations
• A strong understanding of trades and disciplines involved in site/project operations
• Skilled in leveraging site knowledge to support daily tasks, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement
• Ability to develop construction schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera
• A basic understanding of Contract Law to interpret tender documentation
• Basic experience engaging and managing subcontractors
