Job summary

Monadelphous Group is seeking a highly motivated Safety and Training Coordinator to join our Brisbane Operations team on a permanent basis. Based in our Brisbane office, you will deliver HSE support and training programs across Queensland and other regions.

This role requires a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Diploma in WHS and/or Environmental Science, and demonstrated experience delivering training in construction or related sectors.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential.
• Diploma in Work Health & Safety (WHS) and/or Environmental Science is preferred.
• Experience delivering training in construction, mining, energy, or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Leading the Safe Way Supervisor program.
• Support learning and organisational development initiatives across projects; assess needs and estimate time/costs.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops; design, run and evaluate programs.

Based in our Brisbane office, this Monday to Friday role offers the opportunity to support projects across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and internationally in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about health, safety, learning and development, and enjoys engaging with diverse teams across multiple project environments.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• Delivering our Leading the Safe Way Supervisor program.
• Supporting our operations on various learning and organisational development initiatives – understand their needs, present solutions and time/cost estimates.
• Facilitating both in person and virtual workshops and programs, ability to design and evaluate the programs and make it your own.
• Providing HSE advice and support across multiple projects and sites.

What you will bring:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential).
• Diploma in Work Health & Safety and/or Environmental Science.
• Experience delivering training within construction, mining, energy, industrial or related sectors.
• Strong facilitation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental practices.
• Adaptable, proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
