Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the Maintenance and Industrial Services division at our Brisbane Head Office. The role is Monday to Friday with occasional travel to site for short visits.

You will provide technical expertise across project management, estimating, procurement, contractual correspondence, quality assurance and stakeholder management for a busy program of works.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in on-site project engineering or coordination for large-scale resources oil and gas projects.
• Proven ability to build strong, value-driven client relationships.
• Proven project management experience.
• Strong written and technical skills with a problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing contractual correspondence across project delivery.
• Front-end estimating experience in bid or tender teams for shutdown and project work.
• Strong communication and collaboration across levels.
• Commitment to a safe working environment.
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across project management, estimating, procurement, and QA.
• Manage contractual correspondence and stakeholder engagement throughout the project delivery.
• Oversee front-end estimating activities for bids and tenders for shutdowns and projects.
• Foster results through strong communication and collaboration with the client and internal teams.

This high paced position will provide technical expertise across project management, estimating, procurement, contractual correspondence, quality assurance, and internal/external stakeholder management for a program of works.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years' experience working in an on-site project engineering or coordination position for large-scale resources oil and gas projects
• Experience building strong, value driven client relationships
• Proven experience in project management
• Strong written and technical skills, with an innovative approach to technical problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Experience of managing the contractual correspondence across project delivery
• Front end estimating experience working within a bid or tender team for both shutdown and project work
• Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
• A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
