Job summary

SEE Group has full-time Excavator Operator opportunities across the South-West Brisbane region, including Logan Village, Flagstone, Jimboomba, Ripley and more.

This is a full-time role with overtime penalty rates and allowances, working within our Urban development team. You will join a certified 'Great Place to Work' environment and collaborate with a dedicated team that values safety and efficiency on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Hold an RII ticket as required by the role.
• Have a Construction Industry Induction Card.
• Be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate strong safety initiative.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you’re required to operate.
• Operate/drive plant safely to suit job conditions.
• Ensure the safety of team members and the public per legislative requirements.
• Report faults or damages to the Site Supervisor.
• Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and refuelling and assist with minor repairs in consultation with Workshop staff.
• Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.

This is a full-time position with overtime penalty rates and allowances.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you're required to operate
• Operate /drive plant properly and safely to suit the individual job conditions.
• Ensure safety of other team members and the public in accordance with the legislative requirements.
• Report any fault/damage/problem the plant you are assigned to the Site Supervisor.
• Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fueling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, in consultation with the Workshop Personnel.
• Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Hold anrelevant RII ticket
• Have a Construction IndustryInduction Card
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
• Strong safety initiative
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
