Job summary

SEE Group in Queensland is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our Civil Infrastructure team. You'll work closely with the Project Manager and Supervisors on active subdivision projects—roads, drainage, and earthworks—driving QA, safety, and cost tracking on site.

This hands-on role offers autonomy, collaboration with subcontractors, and opportunities to influence short-term programming and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree required.
• 2–6 years’ civil construction experience.
• Subdivision or bulk earthworks experience.
• Strong QA and cost tracking familiarity.
• Ability to build strong relationships with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Take ownership and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities and subcontractors.
• Manage QA, ITPs and compliance documentation.
• Track costs, variations and progress claims.
• Provide short-term programming input.
• Ensure safety standards are upheld.
• Solve problems on active civil sites.
• Hands-on role on subdivision projects—roads, drainage, earthworks.

What You’ll Be Doing

You won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Supervisors to:

• Coordinate daily site activities and subcontractors
• Manage QA, ITPs and compliance documentation
• Track costs, variations and progress claims
• Provide short-term programming input
• Ensure safety standards are upheld
• Solve problems as they arise on active civil sites
• This is a hands-on role on active subdivision projects — roads, drainage, services, earthworks.

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to Engineers with 2–6 years’ experience in civil construction who:

• Hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• Have subdivision or bulk earthworks experience
• Understand QA and cost tracking processes
• Can build strong relationships with supervisors and subcontractors
• Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
