Job summary

Fusion People is seeking an experienced excavator operator for Penrith to support civil earthworks and trenching. You will operate excavators for detailed earthworks around underground services and assist with prep and finishing works.

Role requires current VOC/SOA, White Card and a valid licence with reliable transport. Immediate start with ongoing hours and long-term opportunities for the right operator.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators with civil plumbing experience.
• Current VOC (Verification of Competency).
• Current SOA (Statement of Attainment) - if applicable.
• White Card.
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Operating excavators for detailed earthworks, trenching and civil construction activities.
• Safely excavating around existing underground infrastructure and services.
• Assisting with site establishment, preparation and finishing works.
• Conducting equipment inspections, pre-starts and basic machine checks.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and project requirements.
