Job summary

Fusion People Sydney in Penrith is seeking an experienced excavator operator for detailed earthworks and civil construction projects.

You will operate excavators safely around underground services, assist with site establishment and finishing works, and perform basic machine checks with a strong focus on safety and quality. Immediate start and ongoing hours are offered with a competitive rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators on civil projects.
• Current VOC and SOA certifications.
• White Card and valid driver’s licence.
• Reliable transport and safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operating excavators for earthworks, trenching and civil construction.
• Safely excavating around underground infrastructure and services.
• Assisting with site establishment, preparation and finishing works.
• Conducting equipment inspections, pre-starts and basic machine checks.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and project requirements.
