Job summary

DL Contracting is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for full-time, ongoing work across greater Sydney. You will operate excavators from 1.7T to 38T on civil and construction projects, focusing on detailed excavation and site preparation.

This role requires a White Card, VOCs for excavators, and a valid Australian licence, with strong work ethic and ability to work overtime. Join an established contracting team with opportunities for consistent hours and overtime across Sydney.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' excavator operating experience.
• Current White Card.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Experience with 1.7T–38T excavators.
• Experience using attachments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators from 1.7T to 38T on civil and construction projects.
• Detail excavation for footings, trenches, pads and other civil works.
• Operate attachments including rock saws, hammers and augers.
• Maintain safety and high-quality workmanship.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.
