Job summary

SEE Group is seeking Experienced Excavator Operators to join our North Brisbane team on upcoming projects, predominantly based in the Sunshine Coast and Gympie regions. You will operate 8t-50t excavators, complete bulk earthworks and GPS Final Trim, with an hourly pay rate plus regular overtime.

This full-time role offers penalty rates, travel and meal allowances, and access to a range of benefits within a supportive, family-built civil construction company culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 8t–50t excavators on civil sites.
• GPS Final Trim experience preferred.
• Valid Excavator Operator ticket.
• OHS Induction Card required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and in a team.
• Pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate 8t-50t excavators on Sunshine Coast/Gympie projects.
• Perform bulk earthworks and GPS Final Trim tasks.
• Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate with crew and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain equipment and report faults promptly.

The Opportunity

SEE Group are calling for expressions of interest from Experienced Excavator Operators to join our highly professional and skilled North Brisbane team on upcoming projects. This is a diverse and fast-paced Full-time role based predominantly in the Sunshine Coast and Gympie regions, operating 8t-50t Excavators, completing Bulk Earthworks and GPS Final Trim, hourly pay rate + regular overtime.

This is a full-time position with overtime penalty rates and allowances.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Hold an Excavator Operator ticket - GPS Final Trim experience


• Have an OHS Induction Card


• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team


• Strong safety initiative


• Have excellent communication skills


• Be reliable and dedicated to the role


• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
