Job summary

ARN is seeking an Events & Promotions Manager based in Wollongong to bring our brands to life across the Illawarra through memorable events, campaigns and community experiences. You will lead promotions across on-air, digital, social and live experiences, delivering high-impact activations that engage local audiences and support commercial partners.

In this hands-on role you’ll plan from concept to execution, manage a small team including the Promotions Coordinator, and ensure legal and risk

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events, campaigns, activations or projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, planning and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• A creative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Previous experience in media, events, marketing, community engagement, hospitality or a similar field is highly regarded

• Preparing forward plans and written proposals for seasonal and special promotions activity
• Leading the Promotions team, including the Promotions Coordinator, to deliver market-leading activations, events and listener experiences
• Drafting terms and conditions, risk assessments and permit applications, ensuring all legal approvals are in place
• Maintaining accurate promotional reporting, including post-campaign reports, imagery and documentation
• Managing event logistics, including activation set up and pack down

WAVE FM are looking for an Events & Promotions Manager to bring our brands to life across the Illawarra through memorable events, campaigns and community experiences

This is a hands-on, creative role where you'll plan and deliver promotions, competitions and activations that engage local audiences and support our commercial partners. Working across on-air, digital, social and live experiences, you'll play a key role in connecting our brands with listeners across the region.

Based in Wollongong, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact in your local community while working with one of the region's most recognised media brands.

About the role:

As Events & Promotions Manager, you will lead the delivery of creative, high-impact promotions that benefit both our stations and our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering events, promotions and listener experiences from concept to execution
