ARN is seeking a Promotions Manager for the WAVE FM team on a 15‑month fixed‑term contract from 1 November 2026 to late January 2028. Based in Wollongong, you’ll develop and deliver activations, promotions and competitions that entertain listeners and engage the local community in this high energy role.

You’ll collaborate with Sales and Content to drive audience growth and strong commercial outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering promotions, events or integrated campaigns (media, marketing or events environment preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Content and external partners.
• Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
• A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering content-led and client-integrated promotions and events from concept through to activation.
• Collaborating with station leadership to develop promotions that benefit both the station and commercial partners.
• Developing forward plans, seasonal promotions and sales proposals aligned to revenue and ratings objectives.
• Managing on-ground event delivery, including logistics, venues and prizing.
• Leading the Promotions team, including the Promotions Coordinator, to deliver market-leading activations, events and listener experiences.
• Maintaining the station’s Calendar of Events and ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and on brand.
• Preparing terms & conditions, risk assessments and permit applications, ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are met.

About The Role

As Promotions Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Content teams to plan, deliver and execute engaging station promotions, events and experiences that drive audience growth and deliver strong commercial outcomes for our clients.

About You

You’re a confident and organised promotions professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You’ll bring:

• Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills, with strong attention to detail
