Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced Events Manager - Weddings to lead the Weddings team across our iconic destination venues in the Whitsundays. You will oversee planning, delivery and client service from concept to day-of execution.

• Strong management experience within weddings, events or a closely related hospitality environment
• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering weddings and complex events
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop an events team
• Exceptional organisation with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities
• Strong client, supplier and stakeholder management skills
• A calm, solutions‑focused approach with exceptional attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varied hours in line with wedding and event schedules

Responsibilities

• You’ll lead the Weddings team and oversee the planning and delivery of weddings across Hamilton Island, ensuring couples receive exceptional service from the planning stages through to their wedding day.
• You’ll support and develop your team, oversee event planning and operational delivery, and ensure the many moving parts behind each wedding come together seamlessly. Working closely with couples, celebrants, stylists, suppliers and internal teams, you’ll confidently manage competing priorities, resolve challenges and maintain exceptional standards across every celebration.
