Job summary

Genesis Dance Academy, part of Genesis Christian College, is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and run concerts, productions and community events in Brisbane. This role is part-time (3 days per week) and focuses on delivering memorable experiences for hundreds of students and families.

You will coordinate logistics, schedules and volunteer teams while working with teachers and the Creative Director, ensuring costumes, examinations and backstage operations are smoothly managed.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events or projects, preferably in arts education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, families and staff.
• Attention to budget, schedules and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver concerts, productions and school events with the Creative Director.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with the Creative Director to plan and deliver concerts, productions, events and performance opportunities.
• Coordinate event logistics, schedules, ticketing, communications and volunteer teams.
• Work alongside teachers to plan, source, purchase, fit and manage costumes for performances and events.
• Coordinate examinations, competitions and backstage operations.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff and external providers.
• Support the growth and promotion of GDA.
