Job summary

Adelaide Convention Centre is seeking a Workforce Planning Officer to design, update and implement rosters for AVM’s casual teams across all venues. You will balance staffing levels to meet event demands and collaborate with departments to ensure smooth rostering changes and communications.

You will bring experience in rostering and workforce scheduling, with knowledge of EA and Award provisions, and be flexible to work outside normal hours as events require.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce scheduling or rostering.
• Solid understanding of Enterprise Agreements (EA) and Award provisions.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours to accommodate events.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and implement rosters for AVM's casual workforce across venues.
• Balance staffing levels and manage adjustments to meet event demands.
• Collaborate with departments to coordinate rostering changes and communication.
• Maintain active roster records and respond to team member availability and shifts.
• Liaise with external labour providers to source additional staff during peak periods.
