Job summary

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is seeking a physically capable events assistant to help set up and pack down spaces for conferences, concerts, exhibitions and other events at iconic venues in SA.

You will move furniture, set up tables/chairs/stages, and ensure spaces are safe, clean and presentation-ready for clients and guests. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physical, hands-on work.
• Comfortable moving furniture and equipment.
• Reliable and works well in a team.
• Follows safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pack down event spaces for conferences, concerts, exhibitions and other events.
• Move furniture and equipment, set up tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, seating and operable walls.
• Keep equipment, storage areas and event spaces clean, organised and ready for the next event.
• May operate forklifts, pallet jacks and elevated work platforms after training.
