The Sienna Hunter Valley in NSW is seeking an experienced Evening Events Manager to lead our venue’s evening weddings and events, from guest services handover to close. You will supervise the food and beverage team, coordinate operations, and ensure each event delivers an exceptional guest experience.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, excellent organisation, and the ability to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Proven hospitality/events management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Experience managing teams in fast-paced settings.
• Knowledge of RSA, food safety and venue operations.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate weddings from afternoon through to close.
• Lead and support the Food and Beverage/hospitality teams.
• Oversee food service, including pass and FOH staff.
• Manage alcohol stocktakes, ordering, wastage and breakage records.
• Ensure all food and beverage stock is received, labelled and stored properly.
• Coordinate vendors and ensure venue procedures are followed.
• Monitor noise levels and ensure venue regulations and safety procedures are maintained.
• Manage venue pack-downs, room resets and preparation for upcoming events.
• Complete detailed closing handovers and incident reports.
• Work closely with the Guest Services Manager to maintain procedures.
• Train staff and manage RSA compliance.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Evening Events Manager to join our team at one of the Hunter Valley's newest wedding venues and boutique hotels.

This is a full-time management position, responsible for overseeing the evening operation of our weddings and events, from taking over from the Guest Service Manager through to the successful close of each event.

You will lead our food and beverage team, coordinate event operations, manage guest expectations and ensure our couples and their guests receive an exceptional experience.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where weekend and evening availability is essential.

About the role

The Sienna Hunter Valley is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and organised Evening Events Manager to join our growing team. You will take over from the Guest Service Manager in the afternoon, lead the team throughout the evening and oversee the wedding through to close, ensuring every event runs seamlessly and our couples and guests have an incredible experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate weddings from afternoon through to close
• Lead and support the Food and Bev hospitality teams
• Oversee food service, including running of the pass and the FOH staff
• Manage alcohol stocktakes, ordering, wastage and breakage records
• Ensure all food and beverage stock is correctly received, labelled and stored
• Coordinate vendors, ensuring venue procedures are followed
• Monitor noise levels and ensure venue regulations and safety procedures are maintained
• Manage venue pack-downs, room resets and preparation for upcoming events
• Complete detailed closing handovers and incident reports
• Work closely with the Guest Services Manager to maintain venue procedures and operational standards
• Train staff
• Manage RSA

• Previous hospitality, events or functions management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Confident managing teams in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of RSA, food safety and venue operations
• Reliable, proactive and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
