Job summary

UniLodge Edith Cowan University – Joondalup is seeking confident Evening Duty Managers (full-time and casual) to oversee after-hours operations, respond to resident needs, and ensure the property runs smoothly in the absence of senior management.

This hands-on role focuses on front desk enquiries, resident support, emergencies and security checks, delivering a safe, welcoming, and well-managed community for student residents.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confident in handling challenging situations.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted point of contact for residents, providing support, guidance, and assistance when needed.
• Assist the Management team with resident concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Respond to resident enquiries, noise complaints, and disturbances in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist residents with after-hours access and lockout requests.
• Take responsibility for the smooth operation of the property after hours, acting as the on-site management representative.
• Manage, document, and resolve incidents, issues, or emergencies that arise during your shift.
• Conduct routine property checks to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Attend required training sessions and team meetings to stay up to date with policies and procedures.
