UniLodge Edith Cowan University in Joondalup and Bunbury is seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of building maintenance and safety. This full-time role focuses on preventative programs, contractor management, and delivering a high-standard living environment for residents.

You will ensure compliance with legislation and company policies, maintain records, report to the General Manager, and balance budgets with a hands-on, safety-first approach.

• Proven track record coordinating multiple contractors, suppliers and budgets.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive full-time Maintenance Manager to join our team at UniLodge Edith Cowan University across Joondalup and Bunbury. In this hands-on role, you'll lead all aspects of building maintenance and ensure a safe, well-maintained, exceptional living environment for our residents. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence, you'll oversee preventative maintenance programs, manage contractors, and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day success of the property. Some of the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee maintenance across apartments, common areas, and external building areas, ensuring high standards of safety and presentation.
• Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs, while effectively coordinating suppliers and budgets.
• Manage contractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant legislation, safety requirements, and company policies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently engage with contractors and stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to safety, quality, and delivering outstanding results.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Current National Police Check
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
