Job summary

Janus Electric on the Central Coast is seeking a skilled Electrician to inspect, repair, install and modify electrical systems for the Side Battery and Charge & Change Station.

You will read blueprints, test equipment, and collaborate with trades to deliver safe, compliant electrification of heavy vehicles. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Year 12 High School Certificate and Completion of Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) as part of an apprenticeship.
• 5+ years of electrical experience with a valid driver's licence.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; good communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general labouring assistance by operating hand and power tools.
• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components.
• Inspect, test, diagnose issues and perform timely repairs.
• Ensure work aligns with electrical codes, blueprints and standards.
• Calibrate equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document repairs, service information and parts used.
• Collaborate with team for seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
