Job summary

WISE Energy is seeking an electrician to work on serious, large-scale battery storage projects from factory build to on-site commissioning in NSW. You may be in training or already licensed, and you will contribute to building HV and DC battery systems and coordinating with crane crews.

You will read wiring diagrams, connect inverters and switchgear, and support testing and documentation. A safety-minded team player with a interest in renewables is ideal, with travel to site projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW electrical licence or be in the final stages of licensure.
• Experience reading single line diagrams and wiring plans.
• Interest in batteries, renewables and large-scale power systems.
• Willing to work at heights and travel to site projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire battery systems in factory, including HV and DC systems, switchgear and control cabinets.
• Install battery systems, inverters and switchgear on site, on projects up to 10MW.
• Work with crane and deployment crews on large systems.
• Engage with Victron Energy equipment and BMS communications.
• Read drawings and wiring plans, and help to build them.
• Test, fault-find and commissioning with proper documentation.
