Job summary

seek.com.au is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our electrical construction team in Sydney. You will assess project requirements, coordinate subcontractor quotations and prepare accurate tender pricing to support winning bids.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, preparing budgets, sourcing competitive pricing and maintaining tender records, while building strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, ideally within electrical construction or a related building services environment.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, project costing and subcontractor management.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Estimator to join an established business within the electrical construction industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong estimating and tendering experience who can assess project requirements, coordinate subcontractor quotations and contribute to winning projects through accurate pricing, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
