Job summary

Lead Group is partnering with a well established head contractor to recruit an Estimator to join their growing team in Sydney. They deliver commercial construction and fit out projects across retail, office, government and heritage, valued from $500K to $25M.

You’ll price a mix of projects, review drawings, prepare take-offs, attend tender briefings and client meetings, and hand over projects with clear budgets and scope.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ estimating experience with a head contractor or builder.
• Commercial construction or fit out experience.
• Experience with software such as Cubit or Bluebeam.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and trade costs.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
• Confident communication skills.
• A good network of subcontractors and suppliers (highly regarded).

• Reviewing drawings and specifications, and preparing take offs and estimates
• Attending tender briefings, site inspections and client meetings.
• Sending out tender packages and comparing trade quotes.
• Identifying scope gaps
• Handing over projects to the delivery team with clear budgets and scope.
