Job summary

Louise Clinton is seeking a Building Estimator to join our established team in New South Wales. The role covers estimating, cost planning and design reviews for negotiated submissions and hard-dollar tenders across education, commercial, retail, hospitality and health sectors.

Projects range from $0.5M to $30M, with a reputation for technically challenging builds and a collaborative estimating team that values smart, innovative approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in building estimating for education, commercial or health projects is preferred.
• Ability to develop cost plans and value engineering options.
• Excellent communication with clients and subcontractors during tender process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, cost plans and design reviews for limited negotiated submissions and tenders.
• Attend tender meetings with Estimating Manager and client representatives.
• Collaborate with construction team to add value and smarter build methods.
• Maintain local knowledge and subcontractor networks for pricing and reliability.

Due to continued expansion a new role has been created with a building contractor who is looking for a Building Estimator to join their established team.

You will be estimating, cost planning and doing design reviews for limited negotiated submissions and hard dollar tenders. Projects are across several markets including education, commercial, retail, hospitality and health projects ranging from $0.5 M to $30 M. The company has a reputation for often taking on and successfully completing very technically challenging construction projects.

The estimating team work closely with the construction team to come up with interesting and innovative ideas on how to build smartly. If you are an Estimator who loves the building industry, enjoys being part of the crucial planning stages and enjoys adding value you will absolutely love working for this company.
