Job summary

Davies Ross Consulting Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD NSW seeks an experienced Estimator to join as a standalone role for refurbishment, fit-out and selective new build projects up to $15M. You will price tenders ranging from $2-8M, collaborate with three estimators and report directly to the Director.

You come with a minimum of 3 years' estimator experience in Australian commercial construction, a construction trade or degree background, and proficiency with CostX or Cubit is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as Estimator in commercial construction in Australia
• Experience pricing projects for a Head Contractor is essential
• Live environment project experience is advantageous
• Adaptable, resilient and team-focused work ethic is essential
• Costs tools CostX and Cubit experience advantageous

The Role & Business

Working as a standalone Estimator on refurbishment, Fit-Out, Refurb and New Build projects to $15M, your average tender will be $2-8M. Spanning market sectors multiple sectors you will be pricing a variety of work, you will be working in a team of 3Estimators reporting to the Director.

With a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a commercial Estimator, you will have clear communication & presentation skills and have a track record of winning work through tender presentations allied with an accurate pricing record. Skills in Cubit and CostX are appealing but not essential and you will be commutable to their Head office. They have a relaxed attitude to work flexibility / working from home and you will be treated as an adult to get the work done and not be micromanaged. They want to hire the right person and are open to different experience levels an Estimator can bring and will pay accordingly.

Qualifications & Experience

You will have a minimum of 3years' experience working as an Estimator in commercial construction within Australia

You will come from either a construction trade or degree qualified background

Experience pricing projects for a Head Contractor is essential

Live environment project experience is advantageous

An adaptable, resilient and team focused work ethic is essential

Skills using CostX and Cubit would be advantageous
