Job summary

Morson Edge (Australia) is seeking an estimator to secure projects by efficiently handling enquiries, tendering construction works and preparing timely proposals for commercial and industrial tenders in NSW.

The company has over 30 years of experience across commercial, industrial and retail sectors with project values typically ranging from $10M to $70M in NSW.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction with 3–5 years estimating experience.
• Prepare BOQ for concrete, structure, reinforcement, formwork, early works.
• Knowledge of D&C tenders in healthcare, industrial & education sectors.
• Experience with Buildsoft, Cubit, Estimate One and Mudshark.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries, tender construction projects and proposals promptly.
• Prepare proposals to support work winning for new build commercial/industrial tenders.
• Collaborate within a team to secure NSW projects.

Required Skills

• A construction related degree with at least 3- 5 years estimating experience
• Prepare BOQ for Concrete, Structure, Reinforcement, formwork, early works packages
• Knowledge of D&C tenders within the healthcare, industrial & education sector
• Experience using Buildsoft, Cubit & Estimate One & Mudshark software
• Current market knowledge of subcontractor prices

The Role

You will secure projects by efficiently, effectively and accurately handling / general enquiries, tendering construction projects and preparing proposals in a timely manner. This role will be working within a team supporting the business in work winning for new build commercial and industrial tenders.
