Job summary

Morson Edge (Australia) is seeking a senior estimator for our national fitout and construction operations in Sydney. You will manage estimates and tenders from review to submission, develop detailed cost plans, and identify tender risks and opportunities.

You will review drawings, negotiate subcontractor pricing, and collaborate with pre-construction and delivery teams on major bids, with mentoring and exposure to high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Senior estimator experience with a reputable head contractor.
• Fitout, refurbishment and/or commercial construction experience.
• Construction Management or Quantity Surveying related qualification and estimating software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimates and tenders from initial review through to submission.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost plans, scopes and tender documentation.
• Review drawings and identify tender risks and opportunities.
• Obtain and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Develop competitive pricing and value engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with pre-construction and delivery teams on major bids.
