Job summary

Deacon Recruitment is partnering with a well-established residential construction leader on the Gold Coast to hire a Residential Estimator. The role involves reporting and measuring project performance, tendering, construction scheduling, supplier negotiation, and producing estimates for quantities.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in residential estimating within a volume environment, solid knowledge of building legislation, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years residential estimating experience in a volume environment.
• Good knowledge of relevant building legislation.
• Able to identify and solve complex problems.
• Databuild experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and measuring performance of projects.
• Project estimating including carrying out stage tenders, construction schedules and negotiate with suppliers.
• General production estimating and estimating bills of quantities.
• Ensure accurate orders are provided within timeframes.

About the Position

Currently there is an opportunity for a dedicated Residential Estimator to join their team. Responsibilities with include:

Reporting and measuring performance of projects

Project estimating including carrying out stage tenders, construction schedules and negotiate with suppliers

General production estimating and estimating bills of quantities

Ensure accurate orders are provided within timeframes

Skills and Experience

Minimum 2 years residential estimating experience in a volume environment

Good knowledge of relevant building legislation

Able to identify and solve complex problems
