Job summary

Dormway is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Moffat Beach team on a trusted, long-term program of works across Southeast Queensland. You will prepare cost estimates for water and sewer infrastructure, conduct site inspections, and collaborate with delivery teams to sequence and price works.

Based in our Sunshine Coast office, you will contribute to a 10-year+ pipeline valued at $200M, enjoy a supportive culture, and advance your career in civil infrastructure with a family-run company

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil infrastructure estimating or project delivery.
• Experience in water/wastewater (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency with Expert Estimator software (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong capability with MS Office.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Current Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantities, and pricing for water and sewer infrastructure projects
• Conduct site inspections and assess project-specific conditions
• Program and sequence works efficiently in consultation with delivery teams
• Interpret specifications, standards, and designs for cost implications
• Develop first-principles estimates and TOC/RAMP submissions
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotes with precision
• Support tender handovers and pre-contracts for successful bids

Based in our Moffat Beach office, this role offers the unique balance of working on some of Southeast Queensland’s most significant infrastructure projects while being just minutes from the ocean.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantities, and pricing for water and sewer infrastructure projects
