Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Civil Estimator in Queensland to prepare competitive tenders for civil infrastructure projects up to $50 million. You will work closely with operations and project delivery teams to deliver accurate estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions.

You’ll liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, develop tender programs and risk assessments, attend site inspections, and hand over successful tenders to delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years estimating experience with a civil contractor.
• Experience tendering for TMR, council and/or private infrastructure works.
• Strong first-principles estimating skills.
• A civil engineering or construction qualification or relevant experience.
• A good eye for detail and the ability to manage several tenders at once.

Their pipeline is strong and they have a good reputation for delivering quality work, so they’re adding an experienced Civil Estimator to the team.

The role
