Job summary

Hazell Bros Group is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our Queensland team. You will contribute to the end-to-end tender process, preparing first-principles cost estimates for civil construction projects and coordinating estimating activities with a dedicated pre-contracts team.

You will identify opportunities, manage risks, develop construction methodologies, and oversee post-tender activities through to contract award, ensuring a smooth handover to construction teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in Expert Estimation and Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills within a pre-contracts environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate estimating activities and support effective team delivery.

The ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our Queensland team. Working within a small, highly capable pre-contracts team, you will contribute to the end-to-end tender process, including the preparation of accurate first-principles cost estimates for civil construction projects.
