Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager role.
• Experience on electrical, rail, communications or infrastructure projects.
• Proven capability managing tenders up to $100M+.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the estimating team.
• Manage pre-tender and bid strategy meetings.
• Assess tender opportunities and project suitability.
• Review project scope, risks and commercial considerations.
• Develop winning tender strategies.
• Prepare and review detailed cost estimates.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Ensure accurate labour, material and equipment forecasts.
• Present tender recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and project teams.
• Oversee handover of awarded projects to operations.
• Drive continuous improvement across estimating systems and processes.
