Job summary

Ertech in Sydney's Macquarie Park seeks an experienced Senior Estimator to lead and/or oversee cost estimates for tender opportunities across transport and civil infrastructure in NSW.

Reporting to the National Pre-Contracts Manager, you will develop detailed cost estimates, manage reviews, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in the Construction Industry, preferably NSW
• Civil Engineering Degree or similar tertiary qualification
• Experience with Tier 1 or 2 companies and NSW infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in estimation software or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Review tender docs and prepare drawings, plans, and specs
• Develop detailed cost estimates including quantity takeoffs and quotations
• Lead internal reviews and present reports for tender submissions
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers
• Interpret contract docs, standards and codes for estimates
• Mentor and lead team members to achieve performance goals
