Job summary

General Australia is seeking an ERP System Administrator to join the Innovation team in Eastern Creek. You’ll support ERP, BI and CRM systems, troubleshoot issues, manage user access and helpdesk requests, and assist with testing and configuration changes to improve processes.

You’ll work closely with users, developers and vendors, documenting changes, contributing to system enhancements, and helping shape more efficient ways of using technology across the business.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in helpdesk, application support or a related IT role.
• 1–2 years' hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 1–2 years' experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Practical understanding of root-cause analysis.
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Good time management and organisational abilities.
• Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users across the business.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide guidance on system processes.
• Manage user roles, permissions and access controls.
• Manage helpdesk requests through the Asana IT Service Desk.
• Prioritise incidents and change requests to minimise disruption.
• Support ERP, BI and CRM systems.
• Develop and maintain test plans for system updates and new solutions.
• Test new features and identify system issues or bugs.
• Work with developers and software suppliers to resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledgebase articles, playbooks and process documentation.
• Provide basic training and guidance to end users.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and user experience.
• Support ongoing Innovation projects and initiatives.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts and IT equipment.
