Job summary

Ethos BeathChapman seeks an experienced Project Delivery Lead to steer a major end-to-end ERP implementation for a Sydney-based financial services client. The role requires hands-on leadership across HR, payroll, finance and procurement, with mobilisation through go-live.

You will manage the ERP delivery partner, coordinate stakeholders, maintain momentum, and report to senior executives. Hybrid work and permanent residence in Sydney CBD are supported.

Project Delivery Lead

The role:

• An excellent opportunity for an experienced ERP Delivery Lead/Senior ERP Project Manager to lead a major end-to-end ERP implementation within a highly regarded Australian financial services organisation.
• This is a significant ERP implementation spanning HR, payroll, finance and procurement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who have previously delivered complex ERP implementations from mobilisation through to implementation and go-live.
• This is not a general digital delivery role. Previous end-to-end ERP implementation experience is essential.
• We are particularly interested in senior delivery professionals who remain close to execution. This is a hands on role that will be delivering the project end to end.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of a major ERP implementation.
• Mobilising the program and establishing implementation plans, governance and delivery cadence.
• Managing delivery across HR, payroll, finance, procurement and associated corporate functions.
• Managing the ERP implementation partner / systems integrator and holding vendors accountable for delivery.
• Coordinating business, technology, vendor and project stakeholders.
• Managing integrated plans, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Driving implementation readiness and maintaining momentum across multiple workstreams.
• Providing clear reporting and advice to senior executives.
• Running delivery forums, workshops and stand-ups as required.
• Remaining hands-on and close to the detail throughout the implementation lifecycle.

About you

• You will be an experienced ERP Delivery Lead, ERP Project Manager or ERP Program Manager with demonstrated responsibility for delivering major ERP implementations
• Proven end-to-end ERP implementation experience – essential
• You must be hands on on delivery and not sitting in a purely starteguc function in previous roles.
• Strong end-to-end delivery experience across major ERP or enterprise platform implementations, such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, Dayforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable enterprise solutions.
• Experience delivering ERP transformation across functions such as HR, payroll, finance and procurement.
• Strong experience managing ERP implementation partners, systems integrators and vendors.
• Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, from mobilisation and planning through configuration, testing, deployment and go‑live.
• Strong delivery governance, planning, risk and dependency management.
• Excellent executive and senior stakeholder management skills.
• A background in banking, financial services, insurance or another sophisticated commercial environment will be highly regarded.
• Highly polished communication and presentation skills.
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach to delivery.
