Job summary

The Bureau of Meteorology IT Services is seeking an ERP Functional Lead to provide functional leadership across HR and Finance ERP systems. You will translate business needs into practical, sustainable system solutions and guide design, configuration and testing activities.

You will work with stakeholders, technical teams and vendors to ensure reliable, fit-for-purpose ERP outcomes, with a focus on governance, change management and continuous improvement to support high‑quality public service

IT Services delivers secure, reliable, resilient and sustainable technology services that enable the Bureau’s operations, corporate functions and national service obligations.

Position overview

The ERP Functional Lead provides functional leadership and specialist advice across ERP HR and Finance, ensuring business needs are translated into practical, sustainable system solutions.

The role works collaboratively with stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and project resources to lead key functional activities, including:

• testing, implementation and change activities
• support for reliable, fit-for-purpose ERP outcomes
