Job summary

Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage is recruiting a Senior Systems Coordinator Finance to lead the administration, maintenance and enhancement of the FMIS and related systems. You will drive system improvements, manage projects within the Finance division, and work with stakeholders to ensure reliable financial reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in administering, maintaining and implementing an ERP system in a large organisation.
• Understanding of financial and accounting principles, controls and processes within a systems context.
• Experience leading and managing people, prioritising work to meet deadlines and delivery outputs.
• Ability to consult, collaborate, negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders on complex financial systems issues.
• Strong problem solving with analytical thinking and ability to provide innovative solutions.
• Accredited tertiary qualification in IT, business or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the integrity of Financial Information Management Systems (FIMS) and related third‑party systems.
• Oversee successful implementation of projects within the Finance division and maintain FMIS availability and enhancements.
• Support operations and evolving needs of the organisation through system improvements and stakeholder engagement.
