Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking a Financial Systems Project Officer to support the delivery of ERP transformation projects and enhance financial operations. This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to drive system improvements.

You will prepare briefs and reports, monitor risks, and maintain governance documentation while working with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial systems, ERP implementations or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience preparing project briefs, business cases, reports and stakeholder communications.
• Ability to monitor risks, issues and actions and support change management activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of financial systems initiatives and ERP transformation projects.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination and milestone tracking.
• Prepare project briefs, business cases, reports and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor project risks, issues and actions while supporting change management activities.
• Maintain project governance documentation, registers and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support the development and maintenance of procedures, process documentation and user guides.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and a positive, high-performing team culture.
