Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in Platte Valley Hospital’s Brighton location. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

The role requires ED experience, a current RN license, and BLS certification, with a 30-hour weekly schedule across three 10-hour shifts and a comprehensive benefits package. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status including collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized care plans involving patient and family education.
• Implement: Guides the care team to execute the plan with proper delegation and time/resource management.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the plan as needed.
• Professionalism: Maintains ethical standards, documentation, and licensure compliance.
