Job summary

Queensland Health Logan Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department to deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care across a diverse range of emergency presentations. Working in a Level 5 ED, you will collaborate with nursing, medical and allied health teams to provide high-quality care while continuing to develop emergency nursing knowledge and skills.

The role may involve working across Logan Hospital, Eight Mile Plains Satellite Health Centre and Meadowbrook

Qualifications

• Current registration as an NMBA-registered nurse.
• Minimum 12 months' experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Emergency nursing experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, teamwork and patient-centred care skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to emergency patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using clinical judgement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement, education, leadership and ongoing professional development.
